IPL Skin Rejuvenation

IPL is one of the most modern technology designed for wide use in aesthetic medicine and cosmetology.

IPL device emits intense pulsed light source using a xenon flash along with a system of mirrors and filters. This system produces polychromatic light that is not cohesive. Our device due to its modern design features a high power radiation (pulse energy of light to 40 J/cm2), and the ability to set multiple flash sequences. This feature allows for effective hair removal, photorejuvenation, close blood vessels, acne treatment with a minimal zone of thermal damage to surrounding tissues.

The clear pulse is able to deliver a certain number of individual sequences of light pulse, at a specified time. During the procedure the tissue is cooled by a special electronic cooler TEC, which provides the tip temperature in the range 0-5 ° C, the device can effectively operate at higher energy densities than is possible with older models of the IPL.

The combination of these features gives us a secure solution with high efficiency and speed.

The appearance of brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles, thread veins and age pigmentation spots can make you look older than you actually are. Intense pulsed light treatment can help to soften and reduce the appearance of a number of very specific skin problems and conditions  including:

  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Birthmarks
  • Thread veins
  • Age pigmentation spots
  • Sun damage

Benefits of IPL Skin Rejuvenation

IPL skin rejuvenation offers patients a wide range of benefits, including:

  • IPL is a quick in-office procedure, with almost zero needs for recovery. It’s easy to fit it into your schedule and get on with the rest of your life. You see great results without undergoing intensive surgery.
  • IPL works wonders for removing red splotches, brown spots, and scarring, as well as reducing pore size, eliminating and reducing wrinkles, and improving overall skin texture, smoothness and quality. IPL has been used to treat rosacea, hyperpigmentation, melasma, age and sunspots, broken capillaries, spider veins, stretch marks, and other conditions as well.
  • IPL is a great tool to help combat the effects of ageing, and achieve a more youthful appearance.
  • IPL offers a legitimate and long-lasting solution, as opposed to some procedures which offer only short-term results.
  • IPL can also be utilised anywhere on the body, offering great versatility from a single procedure.

Treatment costs

IPL treatment costs depend on your individual needs. Your personal treatment plan may recommend a series of treatments to achieve the best results. As a guide, a course of 6 treatments taking 30 minutes each costs from £300.

How intense pulsed light works

IPL technology is a type of laser that generates intense bursts of red or blue light. These heat the dermal tissue without harming or removing the outer epidermal layers of the skin. The body’s natural processes then work to break down and remove these marks. The appearance of any skin imperfection can then be visibly reduced *.

* Treatment results and benefits can vary and are different for each individual. As such, Transform cannot guarantee specific results.

What IPL treatment involves

A cooling gel is first applied to the area to be treated and you’ll be asked to wear protective eyewear. A state-of-the-art Lumenis One or Quantum IPL machine is then gently applied. This delivers precise pulses of light that may help eliminate the pigment or imperfection without damaging surrounding tissue.

How long does it take and after your IPL treatment?

The treatment is pain-free but you may experience a slight tingling sensation and have some redness after for an hour or so. Each treatment takes around 20 minutes and you will be able to leave the clinic immediately after your session.

Regular treatments keep skin looking young and fresh

We also recommend a top-up treatment once or twice a year to maintain your desired results. Around 6 treatments at 3-6 weeks intervals is usually required.
